This summer was a full one. On top of running this work, I spent the year homeschooling, and it was a good year, better then I expected when we started. I’m so proud of that season.
Now I am sending them back to public school this fall, and I am heading back into the office myself. 🎉
So the season of juggling everything at once is finally easing into something with a little more rhythm to it.
Here is what that means for you. More of me. More consistency. A real, dependable presence in this space instead of the stops and starts of a summer where I was being pulled in six directions.
I have missed showing up here, and I am walking back in with actual room on my calendar to work alongside this community of entrepreneurs, which is honestly one of my favorite things I get to do.
So let me say plainly what this is, in case you are new or in case you forgot while I was gone.
This is a resource I did not have when I started. When I walked in into government contracting, I had no prior experience, background or network. I figured it out anyway, and I built something pretty significant out of it. This space exist so that you don't have to figure it out alone. It is where every day business owners learn how to sell to the government, at the federal, state, and local level and build a customer base that doesn't depend on algorithm or trends.
Here is what to expect now that I am back in a rhythm. Three posts a week, and each one has a job. A teaching piece to give you the concept. A walkthrough of a real solicitation so you can watch the thinking happen on an actual document. And a story from the field, so you can see it carried all the way through to a win. Concept, application, proof, every week.
There is more coming too. I am running a submission challenge soon, five days to get a real bid out of your head and into the world. And I am opening something I have been building for a while, The Performance Circle, and this community gets first access before the link goes anywhere else. More on all of it shortly.
