Finding Contract Opportunities Everywhere: Federal, State & Local
Solicitation Series, #3
Welcome back to the Solicitation Series. Today we’re doing something a little different.
Instead of our usual single solicitation walk-through, I wanted to show you the full landscape of where you can actually find contract opportunities.
I want you to see just how many doors are open to you.
There Are Dozens and Dozens of Places to Look
I’m attaching my state solicitation resource list so you can see exactly what I mean. The government, at every single level, is buying everything. And I mean everything. This means we can all find our lane here, no matter where you’re coming from.
Maybe you’re like me, coming from a really large employment gap with no professional background. Maybe you’re transitioning out of corporate and looking for your next chapter. Maybe you’re happy in your 9-to-5 but want another stream of revenue. Or maybe you’re a service provider looking for higher-paying clients.
Government contracting can absolutely provide the opportunities you’re looking for.
My Students Are Winning Everywhere
My students have won contracts across the board. Federal contracting, state contracting, and local contracting like cities, counties, and school districts. I’m so happy that I’m able to help with all of them.
I believe in pursuing contracting in triplicate. What does that mean? It means you’re actively looking at federal, state, AND local opportunities. You’re not putting all your eggs in one basket.
This approach is so important for being fruitful in your searches and finding the right opportunity. The right opportunity isn’t just about winning. It’s about winning something that makes sense for where you are and where you’re going.

Hi Erin! I am simply smitten and experiencing tremendous relief with your testimonials - they are so encouraging.
Analysis peralysis and fear of failure is indeed a real thing. For deeper context, I would to ask, of the $36,500 that you were awarded within 20 days, what percentage of that was fulfilled exclusively through subcontractors with you operating solely as the prime?
Also, at which point in your contracting journey were those particular awards granted (e.g. after 30 days in business, 6 months, 1 year, etc).
